The starting point is the installed controller, engineering software, firmware and available source project. We define I/O and network interfaces, operator actions, alarms and fault recovery before implementation. Motion and safety functions are scoped to the controller, drives and machine requirements. Testing and safety validation responsibilities are agreed for each engagement.
BEFORE WE START
Can you connect Rockwell controls with robots and inspection systems?
Yes. We develop PLC handshakes and data exchange with robots, vision systems and other devices, using the interfaces supported by the equipment. The scope includes command ownership, status, faults and recovery after interrupted operation.
Do you support projects across Ontario?
Yes. SQR is based in Waterloo and supports projects across Ontario. Site requirements, travel and the delivery schedule are agreed for each engagement.
