Discuss this applicationTHE APPLICATION
KEYENCE 2D/3D laser profiler integration
SQR Power Automation integrates KEYENCE laser profilers into machine and inspection applications. Our integration work connects the measurement application with the machine sequence, from triggering and job selection to measurement values, pass/fail decisions and fault handling.
What we can deliver
- Profiler setup and application-specific measurement configuration
- Triggering, job selection and PLC communication
- Measurement values, pass/fail results and machine response
- Trials with representative parts and commissioning support
HOW IT COMES TOGETHER
The measurement is only part of the application.
Capture
Review mounting, part presentation and triggering against the feature being measured.
Evaluate
Configure application-specific measurements and acceptance limits using representative parts.
Integrate
Exchange results with the PLC and define the machine’s response to a fail or missing result.

Built around
your equipment.
Laser profilers capture surface height information for dimensional and shape inspection. Depending on the sensor, controller and application, this can support checks such as height, width, step height, gaps or surface variation. We review the feature, tolerance, material, field of view, part presentation and cycle time before defining the setup. Model-specific capabilities are confirmed for the selected equipment.
BEFORE WE START
What should I provide for a profiler application review?
Share sample parts, the dimensions or defects to inspect, acceptance limits and cycle time. Information about how the part moves and where the sensor can be mounted helps define triggering, scanning and integration requirements.
Do you support projects across Ontario?
Yes. SQR is based in Waterloo and supports projects across Ontario. Site requirements, travel and the delivery schedule are agreed for each engagement.
