SQR Power Automation supports machine safety controls design and programming as part of new equipment, turnkey cells and retrofit projects. We connect the defined safety functions with the machine’s operating modes, safety devices, robot interfaces and drive behaviour.

Safety experience includes Siemens, Rockwell and KEYENCE safety controllers, PROFIsafe and supported drive safety functions. The required functions, risk assessment, hardware responsibilities and validation activities are established for each machine. Design and programming services do not imply independent certification of the complete machine.
BEFORE WE START
Can safety work be included in a machine retrofit?
Yes. The scope starts with the existing machine and its safety requirements, then defines the controls design, programming, hardware interfaces and testing needed for the change.
Do you support projects across Ontario?
Yes. SQR is based in Waterloo and supports projects across Ontario. Site requirements, travel and the delivery schedule are agreed for each engagement.
